"Our best days still lie ahead"
(2020)

Despite Joe Biden's recent, and perhaps monumental, victory over President Donald Trump, Biden's campaign slogan was likely not the key to his victory. The Biden campaign tried on a number of slogans throughout his candidacy including, "Unite For A Better Future", "Battle for the Soul of a Nation", and "Build Back Better". Although "Our best days still lie ahead" is the official slogan, it certainly never gained the same defining ring of the campaign slogan of his opponent.
It seems that part of the issue with Biden's slogans can be attributed to their lack of connectedness to his central messages and lack of catchiness. Perhaps, like other candidates, he should have taken a more direct approach? Might I suggest, "Anyone but Trump" would have been more effective and reflected the general sentiment of voters?

One of Biden's unofficial campaign slogans, "No Malarkey", has been the butt of quite a few jokes. This video shows how a seemingly casual campaign slogan can fall victim to the late-night comedy show world.

Do you notice something interesting about Joe Biden's website? (Hint: look at the top left corner!) His campaign website features yet another one of his slogans. Although it may seem like it, this is far from a coincidence. Biden's whole website is about the American people- the soul of the nation. This message helps to drive home the point of his website and campaign.

Notice the campaign slogan? They're also very important on the campaign trail. "Build Back Better" was Biden's slogan of choice on the road.
